Job summary

Conifer Health Solutions, LLC seeks a Part Time Weekend Patient Access representative in Detroit, MI. This role supports scheduling, registration, pre-admission and admission processes, ensuring accurate demographics and compliant patient liability collection at the point of service.

You'll work rotating weekend shifts from 11:00 to 19:30, be part of a fast-paced hospital team, handle insurance verifications, authorizations, and scheduling while upholding Conifer Standards of Care and privacy

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year in a Customer Service role.
• 0–1 year administrative experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred.
• Some college coursework is preferred.
• Typing 35 wpm required.
• Experience in scheduling and patient registration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and performing full patient registration at date of service, with attention to financial/cash control policies.
• Educates patients about financial liabilities and collects payments per policies.
• Verify insurance, benefits, coverage & eligibility; obtain authorizations and coordinate post-discharge care as needed.
