Job summary

Conifer Health, within the Tenet family, seeks a Patient Access Representative for Huron Valley Sinai Grace Hospital in Michigan. You will handle patient registration, scheduling, and admission tasks, ensuring accurate demographics and secured forms at the point of service.

You will educate patients on financial liabilities, verify insurance, obtain authorizations, and support post-discharge coordination as needed, while upholding Conifer Standards of Care.

Qualifications

• Typing speed at least 35 wpm.
• Experience in hospital/healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of third party payor requirements preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Must be able to interpret physician orders and insurance cards.

Responsibilities

• Register patients, schedule appointments, and handle pre-admission and admission tasks.
• Explain and secure hospital and patient forms; ensure accurate demographic data.
• Education of patients on financial liabilities and verify insurance coverage.
