Job summary

Artist Block in Dundee, OR is seeking a Part-Time Tasting Room Associate for weekend shifts. The role focuses on personalized tastings, club signups, and accurate data notes, with part-time hours and a favorable tips structure.

You’ll be selling without pressure, building wine knowledge, maintaining the tasting room, and supporting events as needed, while aligning with our approachable wine experience. 21+ with OLCC permit required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years tasting room experience, with strong references.
• A valid OLCC server permit and you're 21+.
• POS/reservation system experience (Tock or Shopify a big plus).
• A proven ability to sell without it feeling like selling.
• Wine knowledge or a real hunger to build it.
• Weekend availability, plus flexibility for events.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Guide guests through personalized tastings, curated to their taste, not a script.
• Build real relationships that turn into wine club signups and repeat visits.
• Keep checkout details, customer notes, and data accurate and on time.
• Hit sales and club conversion goals with energy, not pressure.
• Help keep the tasting room polished, stocked, and running smoothly.
• Jump in on events and inventory as needed we're small and scrappy.
