Willamette Valley Vineyards in Dayton, OR is seeking a part-time Tasting Room Associate to deliver an exceptional guest experience through wine tastings and wine club promotions. You will engage guests, describe wines, and support sales in a dynamic tasting room setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• OLCC and Food Handler’s Card required before start date.
• Preferred: 1–2 years in hospitality, food & beverage, or the service industry.
• Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and on-site winery events.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and guide them through a CHEERS experience.
• Describe wines, winemaking techniques and winery history.
• Promote the sale of wine, non-wine merchandise and Wine Clubs.
• Handle routine purchasing transactions, guest account accuracy, and processing of all transactions (including shipping orders).
• Provide general tourist information for guests.
• Work to promote new ideas to increase monthly sales and improve operational needs.
• Perform daily opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain supply of clean polished glasses and keep wine storage and tasting room organized.
