Job summary

Pennypack Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a part-time RN Supervisor to lead nursing staff on weekends and PRN shifts. The role requires PA RN licensure and experience in skilled nursing/long-term care, with supervisory responsibilities and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring quality resident care, administering medications, and coordinating admissions, transfers, and discharges within a compliant, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience required.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and oversee clinical operations during assigned shifts.
• Ensure quality resident care in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately as needed.
• Monitor residents' conditions and promptly address or report changes in status.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to LPNs and CNAs.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and all state and federal regulations.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and resident-centered care environment.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
