Job summary

AlmaVia of Camarillo in Camarillo, CA is hiring a Resident Assistant/Caregiver for Saturday and Sunday morning shifts. You will provide personal care to residents with dementia, assist with ADLs, meals, escort and documentation, and support a resident-centered care approach in a memory care community.

Requirements include at least 18 years old, 6 months in long-term care preferred, or current CNA, basic computer skills for charting, strong English communication, and standard pre-employment

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• 6 months+ in long-term care or related field preferred.
• Current CNA preferred or one year experience with seniors.
• Strong English verbal and written communication.
• Computer skills for electronic charting.
• First Aid training per CA Title 22.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and activities of daily living.
• Assist with meals, grooming, mobility, and dressing.
• Escort residents to meals and activities.
• Document care using electronic charting.
• Observe changes and report to care director.
