Job summary

Transforming Age Associates, LLC's AlmaVia of Camarillo is seeking a Resident Assistant/Caregiver to provide personal care and services to residents, including those with dementia, in a compassionate, resident-centered environment.

You will assist with activities of daily living, meal and activity escort, documentation in electronic charting, and collaborate with the care team to respond to residents' needs while maintaining a clean, safe living space.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months in long term care, home care or related field preferred.
Minimum of one year experience working with seniors or current CNA preferred.
Ability to use computer-based charting and communications systems.
Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
Background check and pre-employment screenings may be required.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and services to residents with dementia according to plans.
Assist with activities of daily living, meal and activity escort.
Document care through electronic charting and communicate needs.
Monitor nourishment, observe changes in residents and report to care director.
Maintain clean, orderly living areas and proper use of equipment.
