Job summary

City of Raleigh is seeking a Weekend Operations Analyst to support Dix Park and other Raleigh parks. You will lead the Weekend Support Team and coordinate maintenance across multiple sites, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and high-quality visitor experiences.

The role requires supervising staff, planning small improvements, managing logs and reports, and serving as the weekend point of contact. Strong organization and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Education, Natural Resource Management, or related field.
• 1 to 3 years' experience in park operations or related work.
• Equivalent combination of training and/or experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Oversee weekend operations of sites and ensure quality and efficiency through routine inspections and follow-up.
• Direct a weekend team responsible for litter removal, restroom cleaning, trails, and public spaces upkeep.
• Plan and execute small-scale park improvements and repairs.
• Communicate with staff, volunteers, contractors, and City personnel; provide guidance on tasks and safety.
• Serve as weekend point-of-contact for park maintenance needs and service requests.
• Maintain logs, documentation, and reports related to maintenance activities and inventory.
• Monitor supplies and equipment, ensuring safety and readiness.
