Job summary

The City of Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources (PRCR) seeks an Event Logistics Specialist to support events across Dix Park, Pullen Park, Raleigh Rose Garden, and John Chavis Memorial Park. You will work with a crew to set up and break down event infrastructure and ensure safe, high-quality experiences for park patrons.

The role requires physical labor, night and weekend work, and driving/operating diverse equipment.

Qualifications

• 6 months of relevant experience required.
• Valid North Carolina Class C driver's license is required.
• Class B Commercial Driver's License is preferred.
• High School Diploma (or GED) is required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down a variety of events with a crew of staff.
• Deliver, set up, and breakdown infrastructure (tents, tables, chairs, bleachers, generators, light towers, portable stages, trash cans).
• Assist with inventory and maintenance of event infrastructure and with inclement weather cleanup.
