Job summary

Shelter House is seeking a Residential Coordinator PT for weekend overnight shifts (12am-8am) at the Katherine Hanley Family Shelter in Fairfax County. The role leads shift operations, supports clients, and ensures a safe, orderly shelter environment.

You will document interactions, assist case managers with service plans, and participate in staff meetings. Prior experience in human services, strong communication, and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in human services field.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour awake coverage and shelter supervision.
• Manage front desk operations and safety.
• Document interactions in the daily shelter log.
• Coordinate with case managers on service plans.
