Shelter House is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead a team of Residential Coordinators on evenings at the Fairfax County emergency shelter for families with children. You will ensure safe, trauma-informed client care and on-site decision-making during your shift in alignment with agency policies.

The role requires 3+ years in human services, strong communication, and the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in the human services field (mental health, homelessness, or domestic violence services)
• Ability to build strong working relationships with clients and team members
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Leadership or management experience is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct oversight and support to Residential Coordinators during shifts
• Serve as on-site leader for shift operations and crisis intervention
• Ensure shift documentation and End of Shift reports are completed
• Maintain safety and proper operation of the shelter and campus
• Coordinate intake, assessments, and program support with other staff
