Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist for weekend coverage at our Wisconsin site. You will evaluate patients, design and implement treatment plans, and coordinate discharge planning with families and care teams. The role includes manual therapy, device fabrication, and documentation per policy.

Requires Master’s in Occupational Therapy and state OT license. BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state where you work.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers per American Heart Association.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Interprets physician referrals and evaluates patient abilities and how they affect daily living.
• Establishes a plan of care and implements treatment based on evaluation results and goals.
• Provides and/or fabricates assistive devices to enhance functional independence.
• Monitors outcomes and adjusts treatment plans with patient progress.
• Plans for discharge including home programs and family education.
