Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist for outpatient rehabilitation. You will evaluate patients, develop care plans, and provide assistive devices as needed.

You will document progress, coordinate with physicians, and support discharge planning while maintaining safety standards and productivity goals. The role requires a Master's in OT and state licensure, with a $5,000 sign-on for part-time hires and an evening shift until 7:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state you work.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers within 90 days when required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician referrals and evaluate patient abilities affecting daily living.
• Establish and implement a care plan based on evaluation results and goals.
• Provide and/or fabricate assistive devices or splints.
• Monitor outcomes and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Complete required documentation with appropriate signatures and coding.
