Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital - Acute Care Rehabilitation is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist. The role requires a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and active licensure in the state, plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state where you work.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers per American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Interprets physician referrals and evaluates patient abilities affecting daily living.
• Establishes a plan of care and implements treatment based on evaluation results and functional goals.
• Provides and/or fabricates assistive devices to enhance independence.
• Monitors outcomes and adjusts treatment plans accordingly.
• Completes discharge planning with written home programs and family teaching.
