Job summary

Phoenix Children's East Valley Operating Room is hiring a full-time Circulating Nurse for the weekend. This role alternates Fridays-Sundays and Saturdays-Mondays with day shifts and a 15% shift diff. No on-call required; you will care for surgical patients across specialties in a busy OR.

You will collaborate with the healthcare team, provide nursing assessments, document care, and mentor staff and students as needed in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• RN license required and current in-state licensure.
• Experience as OR Circulating Nurse or in perioperative nursing preferred.
• Ability to work weekend shifts (Fri-Sun or Sat-Sun-Mon) and adapt to varying schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessment of patients across age and condition to initiate treatment plan.
• Evaluate patient responses to care and document progress for care team and families.
• Ensure compliance with medication, storage, and documentation standards.
