Job summary

WaterWalk Hospitality is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to support guest rooms, public areas, and property systems. This role emphasizes preventative maintenance, responsive repairs, and collaboration with the Chief Engineer to ensure safe, clean, and well‑operated spaces for guests.

The position requires weekend availability (Friday evenings, Saturdays, Sundays) and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while prioritizing guest impact.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance or facilities experience.
• Strong hands-on mechanical, troubleshooting, and general repair skills.
• Ability to independently assess maintenance concerns and determine solutions.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance involving HVAC/PTAC units, plumbing, electrical systems, fixtures, appliances, and general building repairs.
• Strong communication and guest-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and property systems.
• Complete maintenance work orders accurately, safely, and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, doors, and appliances.
• Address maintenance issues promptly and escalate when needed to Chief Engineer.
• Maintain maintenance areas and organize tools and supplies.
• Document completed maintenance activities accurately and communicate issues to leadership.
