Job summary

Marriott International is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform upkeep, minor repairs, and routine servicing across our property. You will respond quickly to guest maintenance requests and ensure guest rooms and common areas stay in top condition.

The role demands a hardworking, detail‑oriented problem-solver with solid technical knowledge, strong communication, and the stamina to work weekends and holidays. Marriott promotes from within and offers solid benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent qualification required.
• Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role.
• Extremely organized with good communication skills.
• Detailed oriented with an aptitude for problem-solving.
• Must be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance tasks including, but not limited to: painting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pool & spa (minor repairs).
• Troubleshoot and repair company machinery equipment or appliances.
• While walking throughout the property, make note of items in need of attention.
• Respond to guest room calls/maintenance calls in a timely manner.
• Keep all maintenance storage areas neat and clean.
• Be an active participant in inventory control.
