Job summary

Trinity-Center is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to work every other weekend, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM on Saturdays and Sundays in Des Moines, Iowa. You will assist residents with daily activities and report changes to the supervising nursing staff.

Requirements include a CNA certificate and current Iowa Nurse Aide Registry, with a background check, physical, drug screen, and TB test. Luther Park Community provides a supportive work environment with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must read, write and comprehend English.
• Complete 75-hour nursing assistant course.
• Certified nursing assistant certificate required.
• Current Iowa Nurse Aide Registry in good standing.
• Background check, physical, drug screen and TB test required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance for residents as directed by nursing leadership.
• Assist residents with dressing, grooming, hygiene, feeding, and bathing.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical and emotional conditions.
