Job summary

Trinity-Center is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to work every other weekend, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM on Saturdays and Sundays in Des Moines, Iowa. You will assist residents with daily activities and report changes to the supervising nursing staff.

Requirements include a CNA certificate and current Iowa Nurse Aide Registry, with a background check, physical, drug screen, and TB test. Luther Park Community provides a supportive work environment with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must read, write and comprehend English.
• Complete 75-hour nursing assistant course.
• Certified nursing assistant certificate required.

• Provide personal care and assistance for residents as directed by nursing leadership.

Certified nursing assistantsare responsible for providing personal care and assistance for our residents asdirected by the unit charge nurse, Assistant Director of Nursing, Director ofNursing, or designee. CNAs are responsible for helping residents with dressing, grooming, personal hygiene, feeding, going to the bathroom and baths/showers. CNAs are responsible for observing and reporting changes in residents’ physical and emotional conditions to the unit charge nurse.
