Luther Park Community is seeking a part-time CNA for overnight shifts at the Trinity Center at Luther Park Community in Des Moines, IA. The CNA will provide personal care and daily living assistance to residents, under the supervision of licensed staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to fluently read, write and comprehend English
• Satisfactory completion of the 75 hour nursing assistant course required
• Certified nursing assistant certificate required
• Valid and current on the Iowa Nurse Aide Registry through the Department of Inspection and Appeals
• Background check, physical, drug screen and TB test are required

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance to residents as directed by nursing leadership
• Assist residents with dressing, grooming, hygiene, bathroom, feeding and baths/showers
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical and emotional conditions to the unit charge nurse
