Job summary

Luther Park Community in Des Moines, IA is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to work every other weekend, from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

CNAs provide personal care, assist residents with dressing, grooming, hygiene, feeding, bathroom and baths, and report changes to the charge nurse. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must read, write and comprehend English.
• Completion of the 75-hour CNA course required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification required.
• Valid Iowa Nurse Aide Registry in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with dressing, grooming, hygiene, feeding, bathroom and baths.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility as directed.
• Observe changes in residents' physical or emotional condition and report to the unit charge nurse.
