Job summary

TriMas Company LLC in El Cajon, CA is seeking a Sheet Metal Mechanic II for a weekend shift. The on-site role involves setting up and operating precision sheet metal equipment to fabricate assemblies from light gauge materials such as aluminum and stainless steel.

The candidate will read engineering drawings, run parts from start to finish, and ensure first article quality while handling measuring tools and tolerances. A strong math/trig background is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in precision sheet metal.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Able to run a job from start to finish and be responsible for own first article.
• Able to work in development of first run parts and assemblies.
• Knowledge of math and trigonometry.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or directed.
• Able to use precision tools and hand tools.
