Job summary

TriMas Company LLC in El Cajon, CA is seeking a Sheet Metal Mechanic II to set up and operate precision sheet metal equipment. You will fabricate assemblies from light gauge materials, read blueprints, and own first articles. The role requires 5+ years in precision sheet metal and on-site work four days a week.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in precision sheet metal.
• Fabricate parts from sheet metal with experience in all types of material and tooling.
• Must read and interpret blueprints and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate sheet metal equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Run a job from start to finish and own first article.
• Develop guidelines for production of sheet metal assemblies.
• Use precision instruments to layout shear size and flat patterns.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
