Job summary

TriMas Company LLC in El Cajon, CA is seeking an Assembler I (2nd Shift) to operate assembly equipment and build sheet metal parts to specs. This on-site role offers hourly pay and a full-time schedule on the 2nd shift, with opportunities to advance within the manufacturing production function.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of hands-on experience with sheet metal assembly, can read blueprints, and works well both independently and in a team. ITAR compliance applies.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 1 year experience in set-up and operation of sheet metal assembly equipment.
• Able to assemble parts to dimensional tolerances per engineering drawings.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team in sheet metal assembly.

Responsibilities

• Operate assembly equipment such as squeezers, torque wrenches and rivet guns.
• Read blueprints and run jobs from start to finish with guidance.
• Perform setup tasks and ensure adherence to specifications.
• Other duties as assigned.
