Qualifications

• Experience performing ultrasound examinations across multiple specialties.
• Solid understanding of ultrasound physics, anatomy, and pathology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a call-only, PRN capacity.
• Flexibility to respond quickly to call requests and varying schedules.
• Current CPR certification and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• RDMS certification required; RVT/RDCS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams across obstetrics, gynecology, abdominal, vascular and other areas.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for interpretation.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, with clear instructions.
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures and findings.
• Adhere to safety, infection control and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and healthcare staff for comprehensive care.
• Participate in on-call duties and respond to imaging requests as scheduled.
