Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN or RN in this state.
• English language proficiency and ability to read/write/speak.
• Ability to plan, organize, and supervise nursing services; lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures.
• Review and update department policies and job descriptions.
• Plan shifts, services, programs, and activities for residents.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure staff adherence.
• Participate in quality assurance and coordination with other departments.
• Prepare reports and communicate with physicians as required.
• Assist in discharge planning and resident care coordination.
