Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and willingness to work harmoniously with staff.

Responsibilities

• Inform nursing personnel of patient admissions, room assignments, and care plans.
• Carry out prescribed care and treatment per care plan and physician orders.
• Assist in planning and coordinating nursing objectives and standards.
• Ensure that CNAs follow the resident’s care plan and that documentation is accurate.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents as necessary.
