Qualifications

  • Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
  • Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and supervise nursing services.
  • Complete and file required charting and documentation for residents.
  • Administer medications as ordered by the physician and verify resident identity.
  • Improve and maintain nursing objectives, standards, and care plans; supervise staff and participate in performance evaluations.
  • Participate in safety, infection control, and quality assurance programs; ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
