Job summary

Bedford Wellness is seeking a Staffing Coordinator with CNA/CMA licensure to develop and coordinate resident care staffing schedules across nursing units while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Currently licensed as a CNA or CMA in the state practiced.
• Minimum of one-year long term care staffing experience required.
• Strong personal organization and time management ability with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Excel and Word applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all schedules for the nursing units and maintains four weeks of posted schedules on the units.
• Oversees nursing department scheduling, including vacations and holidays.
• Performs nursing department corrective action in line with policy.
• Ensures accuracy of nursing payroll by verifying hours, absences, PTO, etc.
• Documents activities on staffing sheets with sick, tardy, shifts, and changes.
• Manages staffing data, updates employee records, audits shifts and schedules.
• Coordinates education schedules as required and assists with onboarding.
• Responds to staffing inquiries and resolves scheduling issues with proper follow-up.
• Completes nursing hours reports daily and handles new employee paperwork.
• Keeps schedules current with personnel changes and communicates updates.
