Job summary

Normandy Nursing Center is seeking a Weekend Nurse Supervisor (LPN or RN) to lead nursing care for residents. The role emphasizes compassionate, high-quality care and the coordination of care plans.

We offer sign-on bonuses up to $12,000 for eligible RN candidates and $10,000 for LPNs, plus PTO, premium holidays, tuition reimbursement, a 401(k) with company match after one year, medical/dental/vision and other voluntary insurances for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing or equivalent program.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Valid CPR certification and active license to practice nursing.

Responsibilities

• Lead individualized nursing care plans and assess residents’ needs.
• Provide medications administration and follow physicians’ orders.
• Coordinate with care team and document care accurately.
• Respond decisively in emergencies and uphold confidentiality.

• $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time qualifying LPN candidates

• $12,000 sign-on bonus for full-time qualifying RN candidates

Essential FunctionsofWeekend Nurse Supervisor (LPN or RN)

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspect of nursing

• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards

• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans

• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs

• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders

• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications

• Administers medications

• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents

• Documents that treatment as required

• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner

• Other duties as assigned

QualificationsofWeekend Nurse Supervisor (LPN or RN):

• Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing

• One year of nursing experience is preferred

• Valid RN license

• Valid CPR certification

• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.

• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization

• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations

• Ability to maintain confidentiality

• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff
