Job summary

Normandy Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse for the evening shift. You will deliver direct nursing care, implement physician orders, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a senior living setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Valid LPN license.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Provide contact email/phone for employer communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team.

• Ability to react decisively in emergencies.
• Maintain confidentiality.

• Evenings 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

• $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time qualifying candidates!
• Competitive Pay Based On Experience. Starting rate for this position is $32.00 / hour!
• Shift Differential Pay (at participating locations).

Essential Functions of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspect of nursing
• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans
• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications
• Administers medications
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residentsDocuments that treatment as required
• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner
• Others duties as assigned

Qualifications of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing
• One year of nursing experience is preferred
• Valid LPN license
• Valid CPR certification
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff
