Job summary

Normandy Nursing Center is seeking a Weekend Nurse Supervisor (LPN or RN) to lead nursing care for residents in a supportive team environment. The role emphasizes adherence to care plans, timely medication administration, and effective communication with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Valid RN license.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Must maintain a working email address and phone number.
• Ability to work cooperatively on a team.
• Ability to communicate with residents, families and all levels of staff.
• Ability to react decisively in emergencies.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care across all aspects of care.
• Delivers services exceeding standards.
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans.
• Assesses and documents resident conditions and needs.
• Translates orders into prompt actions.
• Assigns care to team members per needs and capabilities.
• Administers medications.
• Starts IVs and performs treatments.
• Documents treatments as required.
• Ensures supplies and equipment are properly used and maintained.
