Job summary

StoneRidge Senior Living Community in Mystic, CT is seeking a Floor Nurse (RN or LPN) for part-time 2nd shift (3pm-11pm). 8 hours per week with alternating weekends. Starting pay is $26–$48 per hour, with increases based on licensure and years licensed.

Shift and weekend differentials may apply. The role involves providing high-quality, person-centered nursing care, administering medications and treatments, and documenting care.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN/LPN license in Connecticut is required.
• Current CPR and IV certifications are required.
• Geriatric/rehabilitation experience with a good understanding of restorative nursing is required.

• Gives and receives reports.
• Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in residents’ condition.

General Summary:

The nurse is responsible for administering high quality, accurate, and person-centered nursing care to all assigned residents on his/her shift. Tasks may include the accurate and timely administration of medications and treatments, observational and clinical documentation, assisting in emergency calls, and updating Supervisors of changes.
