Avalon Health Center at Stone Ridge in Mystic, CT is hiring a Certified Nurses Aide for part-time, 2nd and 3rd shifts. Starting pay ranges from $20.50 to $24 per hour with shift and weekend differentials. The role involves assisting residents with daily care, documentation, and collaboration with a care team.

Qualifications

• State-approved CNA training completion is required.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred.
• Ability to legibly track and document care provided to residents.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
• Give treatments, perform tests, and collect specimens as instructed.
• Report and record observations and results of treatments and procedures.
• Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed.
• Respond to signal lights promptly.
• Change bed linens, make beds and keep rooms clean and orderly.

Schedule:

Part Time (16-hours/week), 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm)

Week 1: Sunday, Monday

Week 2: Monday, Saturday

Part Time (8-hours/week), 3rd Shift (11pm-7am)

Week 1: Saturday

Week 2: Sunday

Starting Pay:

$20.50-$24 per hour, plus shift and weekend differentials

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of a State approved nursing assistant training program. Registration with State of Connecticut registry required.


• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.


• Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred.


• Ability to legibly track and document care given to each resident.
