Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a Nurse Assistant who is certified preferred for the Sat & Sun 7:00a-2:30p shift at Stygler Commons in Gahanna, OH. The role focuses on direct resident care and daily living activities within an assisted living setting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED (preferred), 2–4 years' experience, and strong communication in English. Training and orientation will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred or currently enrolled in a program to achieve preferred education.
• Experience: Two to four years preferred.
• English: ability to speak, read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to residents and assists with daily living activities.
• Assists with lifting, turning, positioning, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Measures and records vitals, weights, and other documentation.
• Maintains cleanliness of resident rooms and living areas.
• Reports changes in residents' condition to supervisor.
• Documents resident information accurately in the EMR system.
