Job summary

National Church Residences seeks a Nurse Assistant (Certified Preferred) for weekend coverage in our Senior Living division. This part-time role (Saturday and Sunday, 7am–3pm) provides direct resident care under the Charge Nurse, including mobility support, meals, and restorative activities to promote independence and dignity.

The position emphasizes compassionate communication, confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and adhering to safety policies to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two to four years of experience preferred.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite and World Wide Web.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care including lifting, turning, positioning, bathing and feeding as needed.
• Measure and record vitals, assist with admissions and maintain accurate documentation.
• Respond to call lights promptly and communicate professionally with residents, families and staff.
• Maintain resident rights, confidentiality, and safety in accordance with policies.
• Assist with meals, mobility, restorative nursing activities and daily living tasks.
