Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in Georgia.
• Board certification in Family or Adult-Gerontology NP, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with new or worsening acute issues during weekend coverage.
• Respond to nursing staff concerns with evaluation and follow-up plans.
• Manage common acute conditions in a skilled nursing setting.
• Determine escalation needs for ED or hospital transfer when appropriate.
• Review labs, imaging, meds, and clinical history to guide care.
• Communicate care plans clearly with staff, residents and families.
• Provide follow-up for recently discharged residents or condition changes.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of encounters.
