Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead the Weekend Night Shift (Friday-Sunday, 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM) in our newly built facility. You will supervise and train the warehouse team, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.

You will manage inventory, support production to minimize shortages, and ensure accurate shipments using the D365 system. A forklift certification and strong leadership and communication skills are required for a fast-paced, safe, collaborative operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a relevant leadership role.
• Working knowledge of logistics processes.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to learn all warehouse positions.
• Self-starter with initiative.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data base programs.
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with multitasking and shifting priorities.
• Follow safety rules and GMP practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead loaders, unloaders, jockeys, conveyor operators, finished goods handlers, administrative assistant and leads.
• Lead Inventory Control processes for the shift/building.
• Retrieve, organize and distribute outbound shipment mail bags daily for all distribution centers.
• Check and assure trailer number and door assignments for proper deliveries.
• Manage and address issues that arise during the shift.
• Investigate, document and report incidents, injuries, property damage or vehicle related.
• Ensure finished orders are confirmed and shipments are accurate.
• Communicate with production facilities to minimize shortages.
• Monitor and sign-off on finished orders for 100% cube utilization of outbound trailers.
• Supervise unloads/conveyor operations to ensure proper inventory practices.
• Train associates on operations and procedures.
• Initiate process improvement and advise the Logistics Manager.
• Be flexible to cover other shifts if needed.
• Ensure D365 entries are accurate by the team.
• Responsible for quality and food safety tasks.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
