Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Hanover, PA, is hiring a Weekend Night Shift Warehouse Lead to help steer warehouse operations from Thursday to Saturday, 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM. You will support receiving/shipping, coordinate trailer movements, and train staff while upholding safety and SQF standards.

You will lead material handling, ensure FIFO inventory, and use D365 for transactions, contributing to food quality and efficiency. This full-time role offers growth with Utz.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehouse, receiving, manufacturing, or distribution experience preferred.
• Leadership or team lead experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Experience with D365 or other warehouse management systems preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory control and FIFO practices preferred.
• Safety-minded and able to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and work around noise, heat, and moving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift in receiving, unloading, and staging raw materials.
• Jockey trailers to and from docks; training offered.
• Able to obtain forklift license.
• Organize, stage, and load finished goods in warehouse.
• Use D365 to record inventory transactions.
• Coordinate inter-yard trailer movements and with other facilities.
• Inspect incoming materials for correct items and quantities.
• Follow FIFO inventory control.
• Follow food safety practices under SQF.
• Maintain a safe, clean dock area and train new personnel.
• Work in a team environment with production.
• Report unsafe equipment and practices to supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
