Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead the Weekend Day Shift (Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM–5:30 PM) at our new facility. You will supervise loaders, unloaders and convoy operators, ensure inventory accuracy, and drive safety and productivity across the shift.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in a logistics leadership role, knowledge of logistics processes, and forklift certification. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the D365 system will help you manage daily tasks and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience in logistics.
• Knowledge of logistics processes.
• Forklift certification required.
• Able to learn all warehouse positions.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and database programs.

Responsibilities

• Leads and assists loaders, unloaders, jockeys, conveyor operators, finished goods handlers and leads.
• Leads the Inventory Control processes for the shift/building.
• Retrieves, organizes and distributes outbound shipment mail bags daily for all delivering distribution centers.
• Checks and assures trailer number assignments and door assignments to affect proper deliveries.
• Manages and addresses issues that arise during the shift.
• Investigates, documents and reports all shift incidents, injury, property damage or vehicle related.
• Ensures finished orders are confirmed in the system and accuracy of shipments.
• Communicates with production facilities to minimize product shortages.
• Monitors and signs-off on finished orders to ensure 100% cube utilization of outbound trailers.
• Supervises unloads/conveyor operations and inventory practices.
• Trains associates on operation, procedures and other warehouse responsibilities.
• Initiates process improvements and provides advice to the Logistics Manager.
• Must be flexible to cover other shifts when needed.
• Ensures D365 entries are managed accurately by the team.
• Responsible for quality and food safety tasks.
