Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a weekend night shift (Friday through Sunday, 11:30pm–11:30am) at our Idaho Mountain Home facility.

You will maintain complex production equipment, work with PLC systems and vision sensors, and ensure safety and uptime in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Applicants should have a minimum HS diploma or GED (AA preferred), strong communication skills, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum HS Diploma or GED; AA degree preferred or equivalent training.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLC controls, AC/DC motors, drives, and 480V 3-phase systems; vision systems and related controls.
• Strong verbal and written communication with good documentation and computer skills.
• Ability to work under stress, be self-motivated with limited supervision, and lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve problems in PLC-based equipment, vision systems, and electrical components.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety protocols (Arc Flash, Lock Out/Tag Out, Electrical, Ladder Safety).
• Be available for overtime to meet production needs.
