Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the weekend night shift (Fri–Sun, 11:30pm–11:30am) to support production equipment operation. You will diagnose and repair PLCs, vision systems, motors, drives, and related electrical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires a HS Diploma or GED (AA preferred), strong mechanical/ electrical skills, and solid communication and documentation capabilities.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent required; AA degree preferred.
• Experience in Industrial Manufacturing / Production Maintenance.
• Experience with PLC controls, AC/DC motors, drives, 480V 3-phase, servo motors and related controls.
• Strong communication and documentation skills; able to work with limited supervision and lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve problems in legacy and modern equipment with PLCs, vision systems, sensors, and drives.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment availability.
• Adhere to safety protocols including Arc Flash, Lock Out Tag Out, and Ladder Safety.
• Be willing to work overtime to meet production needs.
