Job summary

Southern Illinois Healthcare is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care in a multidisciplinary setting. Qualifications

• Illinois RN license currently in good standing
• BLS certification
• ACLS, NRP, STABLE, TNS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC as applicable

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs
• Plan, implement, and evaluate an individual plan of care with the multidisciplinary health care team
• Provide explanations and instructions to patient/responsible person
• Demonstrate nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
• Contribute to a healthy workplace environment through professional communication
• Meet Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care
• Participate in continuing education
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records
• Charge RN—Monitors workload and delegates responsibilities
• Charge RN—Assists Unit Manager with daily operations
• Charge RN—Rounds with physicians

Education

Associate / Diploma / Bachelor / Master’s in Nursing
