Southern Illinois Healthcare is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to provide professional care to patients across unit assignments. The role requires comprehensive nursing education and current licensure, with multiple certifications kept up to date.

Formación

• Nursing degree (Associate, Diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s) required.
• Illinois RN license current and active.
• CPR/BLS card current.
• ACLS card within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC or TNS within 1 year of hire.
• NRP or PALS within 6 months of hire (as applicable).

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
• Establish a compassionate environment to provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families.
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates an individual care plan with the healthcare team.
• Provide health teaching and counseling to promote optimal health.
• Demonstrate clinical judgement with critical thinking to respond to changes in patient condition.
• Document timely and accurately in the patient record.
• Contribute to policy and procedure development for patient safety and quality.
• Supervise and delegate to licensed or unlicensed staff as appropriate.
• Advocate for patients by collaborating with other health professionals.
• Complete required education and licensure timely; float to other SIH units as needed.
