Job summary

Endeavor Health is hiring a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a Weekender role in Naperville, IL. The position is full-time with a 36-hour work week and the night shift on Fridays and Saturdays or Saturdays and Sundays, 7pm–7:30am.

Some float coverage to Plainfield ED may be required. The role requires an RRT, CoARC-accredited education, IL licensure soon after hire, CPR and ALS/NRP/PALS within 24 months, and experience with arterial blood gases, PFTs, and CP therapies.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a nationally accredited Respiratory Therapy program (CoARC).
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or registry eligible.
• Illinois licensure required within 6 months of employment.
• Current CPR; ACLS/NRP/PALS within 24 months of employment.
• Advanced knowledge of acid-base balance and blood gas analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform, teach, and guide all forms of respiratory therapy and related diagnostics.
• Assess and treat patients from neonatal to geriatric; involve families in care plans.
• Administer therapies, monitor equipment, and manage safety and adverse reactions.
• Maintain patient records and coordinate with nurses and physicians.
• Provide guidance to Respiratory Therapy Techs and participate in ongoing education.
