Job summary

Texas Health Resources Fort Worth is seeking a Part-Time Weekend Night Patient Care Tech (PCT) to join our Specialty Hospital team. You will provide direct patient care, assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges, and work closely with nurses to support diverse patient populations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, THR-approved PCT training, BCLS and CPI certifications, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• PCT training program or THR-approved program required.
• EMT training or nursing student background considered.
• BCLS certification required before providing independent patient care.
• CPI training maintained annually (90 days).
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care and assistance based on the care plan.
• Collects and reports patient data; supports admissions, transfers, discharges.
• Performs procedures safely and documents care accurately.
• Collaborates with nurses to adapt care for diverse populations.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and meets patient needs.
• Demonstrates teamwork and effective communication across disciplines.
• Participates in process improvement and adheres to safety goals.
