Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for the Neuro PCU located at Texas Health Southwest in Fort Worth, TX. This full-time night shift (6:45 PM–7:15 AM) requires 36 hours per week with weekend and holiday commitments.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, BCLS, CPI, and a THR-approved PCT training program or equivalent. EMT or foreign education considerations may apply upon hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BCLS certification prior to providing independent patient care.
• CPI training and renewal annually.
• PCT training program or THR-approved program required at hire, not mandatory to maintain after hire.
• EMT training or equivalent experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and assistance per care plan and patient/family preferences.
• Collect and report patient data; support admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Perform technical procedures safely and document care accurately.
• Collaborate with nurses to adapt care to diverse populations and needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and respond to patient and visitor needs.
