Job summary

University Medical Center, Inc. in Kentucky seeks an experienced hospital administrator to supervise all departments after hours, directing professional and technical staff and serving as the highest-ranking administrator during night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

You will coordinate staffing, patient throughput, safety, and policy enforcement, partnering with security, facilities, and medical leadership to maintain uninterrupted patient care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN with minimum 3 years relevant clinical/administrative experience.
• MSN preferred for Magnet facility.
• Current Kentucky registered nurse license or compact
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (ACLS not required for Peace or Frazier).

Responsibilities

• Supervise activity of all departments and staff after hours.
• Direct patient flow and bed management per acuity standards.
• Coordinate with staffing to ensure adequate nursing resources.
• Promote patient safety and HIPAA/privacy compliance.
• Coordinate with security, facilities, and clinical leadership during incidents.
