Trezevant Episcopal Home in Memphis, TN is seeking an Entry-level Licensed Practical Nurse for a part-time weekend night shift (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.). The role offers a $2 per hour shift differential and full benefits.

The LPN will provide professional nursing care according to ANA standards and the facility’s policies, ensuring high-quality care to residents. Responsibilities include administering medications, processing orders, operating equipment, and collaborating with the health care team

Qualifications

• Maintain a State of TN or a multi‑state LPN license.
• Must possess a current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer medicines (p.o., IM, subq); manage IVs; perform dressings and catheterizations as ordered.
• Process medical and nursing orders per facility policy and procedure.
• Operate equipment to carry out physician orders.
• Intervene in emergencies per facility policy and procedure.
• Report timely with pertinent data between shifts.
• Chart significant observations reflecting nursing process.
• Assess resident problems, symptoms and behavioral changes.
• Supervise ancillary nursing staff effectively.
• Collaborate with health care team to promote quality resident care.
• Communicate with physicians as necessary.
