Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with Tennessee licensure or multi-state license.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in geriatric or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications (oral, IM, subcutaneous) and manage IVs per policy.
• Process medical and nursing orders accurately.
• Operate equipment to carry out physician orders.
• Intervene in emergencies per facility policy and procedure.
• Report timely and accurately across shifts with pertinent data.
• Chart observations reflecting nursing process and resident status.
• Assess resident problems, symptoms, and behavior changes.
• Supervise ancillary nursing staff and collaborate with the care team.
